The Two Grey Hills rug is based around one or two diamond patterns.  It is usually found with a black border.  They are woven of natural undyed, hand-spun wool.  Weavers produce subtle shades of these basic hues by carding different shades of wool together.  The design does not represent hills, but rather is named after a village located on the east side of the Chuska mountains in New Mexico.
