The term “Navajo rug” is a bit of a misnomer today, as many people who collect these works of art would never place them on the floor and walk on them. These textiles are collected for their natural beauty – a perfect blend of color and texture. Traditional color schemes of reds, blacks, whites and greys may be found in Two Grey Hills and Ganado rugs. But if you prefer a wider variety of color, look for a Teec Nos Pos or maybe a Burntwater.  The beauty of the Navajo rug is that it is not limited to the color scheme of the room in which it will be displayed.

Each rug in the Verkamp inventory is hand-selected by us, many of them purchased directly from the weaver. We carry a wide assortment of rugs in various sizes, styles, and price ranges. On the following pages, we've shown you some samples of the rugs we carry. If you are searching for a rug of a certain style, size, or price range and don't see it on these pages, please contact us and we will search our inventory to find one that suits your needs.
