of the Hopi Kachinas available for sale at Verkamp’s have been purchased
directly from the artists. We have an extensive collection featuring Eagles, Mudheads, Bears, and many others. As we work towards presenting all of them

request. Our inventory is ever-changing, as artists bring us more pieces.
In addition to the Hopi Kachinas, we have a number of
Navajo carvings for sale. These pieces are wonderful reproductions of
Kachinas, individually carved, painted and decorated by Navajo artists.
Thanks
to one of our carvers, we also carry some rather unique items. These figures
are part of the Havasupai legend of the “Grand Canyon Guardians.” These
dancers are not carved very often, and Verkamp’s feels fortunate to be able
to share them with our guests.
