Liquid silver gets its name due to the smooth-flowing
feel of these fine sterling beads. While the beads themselves are created in
a controlled environment, all the jewelry is hand-strung by artists living
in New Mexico and Arizona.
The more you wear your liquid silver, the less often it
needs to be cleaned. When not in use, keep your liquid silver in either a
Ziploc bag or Saran Wrap. Exposure to the elements when not being worn
promotes tarnishing. The larger multi-strand necklaces will rarely tangle if
hung up and handled gently.
To clean your liquid silver, simply wash it with a mild
dishwashing detergent and water. Gently roll the silver in your hands in the
sudsy water. Rinse thoroughly, and let it air dry on a cotton towel. Be sure
it is completely dry before storing.
